Pennypot Cottage is your ideal location from which to explore the Peak District as well as the city of Sheffield. Its position overlooking the beautiful Rivelin Valley makes it perfect for those who want to discover the magnificent countryside  – whilst being within easy reach of shops, pubs and other essentials.

The cottage – which sleeps up to 6 – is family run and owners Martin and Jane Edwards live on site, so they are readily on hand should you want some guidance on where to find spectacular walks or just some recommended restaurants within a short drive or taxi ride away. Pennypot cottage is the guest wing of a beautiful 16th century manor house, which has been refurbished to the highest standards to ensure your comfort.

Boasting to the cottage has three double bedrooms, one of them ensuite, a large bathroom/shower room, downstairs cloakroom/WC, utility room and well-equipped kitchen as well as a magnificent lounge with log fire. It is available for rent on a weekly basis and is open all year round.

There is ample car parking and an electric security gate.

The accommodation is minutes from Bakewell, Chatsworth, Ladybower reservoir, Mam Tor, Castleton and the awe-inspiring  Winatts Pass. Yet Sheffield is readily accessible and we are close to the University, so it makes the perfect choice for visitors attending graduations and other events.
