A comfortable cottage in stunning countryside but within easy reach of essentials. We had plenty of space and also enjoyed sitting outside at the back. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. The owners live next door and are there if you need them (but not at all intrusive). We were very pleased we had chosen it.

Our stay was amazing, the cottage is beautiful with loads of character and plenty of room. The location is perfect for country walks or hikes and also has plenty of pubs all within a small drive. The owners are very helpful and always on hand should you need anything. We loved our stay and did not want to leave, my wife and 3 boys absolutely loved it and we would recommend penny pot cottage 110%. Thank you so so much!

We spent a fantastic week at Penny Pot Cottage, Jane and Martin were wonderful, available, but not intrusive hosts next door if we needed anything. The location is excellent for exploring the Peak District but just on the edge of Sheffield in the beautiful Rivelin valley. The cottage is well equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated. The (on request) pizza oven was a great bonus!

We had a wonderful week in Sheffield, this cottage is in an excellent location – close to the centre and still in beautiful countryside. The front room with its log burner is lovely, and the kitchen well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable but the double room needs a new mattress (the owner has said this will be done). The whole place is very spacious. The owners are next door and very friendly & helpful. We will certainly be back!

A really beautiful cottage, part of a beautiful house and farm, in countryside on the edge of Sheffield. The owners treated us with the perfect mix of welcome and distance. Everything was in good order, and we found nothing to fault.

Fantastic location with lovely walks from the door and easy access to the peaks and to Sheffield. Cottage nicely furnished, everything we needed in the kitchen, good showers with plenty of hot water & comfy beds. A great place to stay.

We loved staying at Pennypot Cottage. We felt at home immediately. The cottage was well equipped and we had everything we needed. We much appreciated the home made bread and the delicious cake provided. The views from the cottage are stunning as is the surrounding area and the situation is ideal for visiting the Peak District. We really didn’t want to leave and hope to visit again.
